Temporary staging with automatic cleanup

Because iOS apps do not grant permanent direct access to shared files, Camera Backup stages a temporary local copy in its transfer queue so uploads can finish in the background - then automatically removes the staged copy once the backup is verified or cancelled.

Direct-to-Photos uploads

Uploads go straight from your iPhone to the Google Photos resumable API. Boive servers never receive your media bytes.

Checkpointed reliability

Offsets advance only from Google Photos acknowledgements and local digest verification - so you know what is safely stored before you free space.

Clear space with confidence

Once a backup is verified complete, you can reclaim room on your iPhone, device storage, and camera cards. Source media is never deleted or mutated automatically.
